Fragrance Oils - Natural or Synthetic!!!
Fragrance Oils – Natural or Synthetic!!!
Our fragrance oils consist of many aromatic ingredients, some natural and some synthetic. Natural components are extracted from plants or flowers and synthetic components are manufactured from man-made materials. Only using natural ingredients (such as essential oils) is expensive and restrictive with what you can create. Essential oils are not stable, do not blend well with wax and do not give you a good scent throw.
Our fragrances are therefore a combination of essential oils and synthetics. Our fragrances do not contain sulphates, phthlates or parabens, and none of the ingredients are animal derived. Therefore they can be deemed as vegan friendly.
Furthermore, Our fragrances are non toxic and do not contain carcinogenics such as formaldehyde.
- All our fragrances adhere to RIFM and IFRA standards for safety and purity.
- They are manufactured in Australia.Â
- And none of them are tested on animals.
What is a shower steamer?
Shower Steamers are heavily loaded with essential oils and or fragrances. You place them near you in the shower. Preferably near your nose. The water spray from the shower head will activate them. As they start to fizz the steam traps the menthol, the essential oils are released into the air. All you need to do is breathe deeply and clear your airways!!!
For relief from sinuses & congestion without the shower simply place the steamer in a bowl of hot water and carefully breathe in the steam.
These steamers are not suitable for bath use as they are heavily loaded with essential oils or fragrances.Â
Please note that shower steamers are not recommended for pregnant women or for children under two.

Cold Process Soap Making: A Traditional ArtÂ
Cold Process Soap Making: A Traditional ArtÂ
Cold process is a classic method of soap production, involving a chemical reaction between animal or vegetable fats and a base (sodium hydroxide), known as saponification.Â
Saponification, as defined by dictionary.com, is a reaction where an ester is combined with an alkali like sodium hydroxide, resulting in free alcohol and an acid salt, typically the alkaline hydrolysis of a fat or oil to create soap.Â
The saponification process yields glycerin, which is highly moisturising, and soap, with no lye remaining as it reacts entirely with the fats to form a new substance. Cold process soap generates bubbles within 24 hours but requires a curing period of at least four weeks, enhancing the soap’s mildness and hardness over time.Â
Cold process soap crafted from natural ingredients like plant oils and butters produces a rich lather for deep skin hydration, penetrating deeply to alleviate dry, itchy skin.Â
Our handmade cold process soaps are meticulously mixed using time-tested recipes to provide your skin with the utmost care.Â

Our soaps are carefully handmade in small batches and not in industrial quantities. Quality control is closely monitored with a large dose of love added from commencement of batch making to the individual wrapping of each bar.
We pride ourselves in being Australian Made, Natural Ingredients, Premium Skincare, Cruelty free, Vegan friendly and most importantly we are free from:
- Parabens
- Phthalates
- Petrochemicals
- Triclosan
- Talc
There are no synthetic detergents added to make them foamier! Our soaps lather naturally. They are true soaps because all the elements created during saponification are retained and not subtracted to make by-products, as is the case with most commercial soaps.
Their unique designs and colours add a touch of elegance to your bathroom. Finally, each soap is prepared, styled, cut, packaged and labelled by hand, giving it a unique style.
These are 100% locally made soaps, handmade in Highfields, Qld. Australia. Buying from us has a direct impact that contributes to the local economy.
